weather jinx!!

Well we put the kids HUGE trampoline up last weekend but we probably jinxed the weather because its hardly stopped raining since we put it up! and the garden is very squelchy. Maisy and Ewan love it though and my daredevil son has perfected the "non handed forward somoursault", they both do this really funny thing of running really fast round it, reminds me of those old fashioned photo spinning things with horses in them!?! ( amazed if anyone knows what they are from that description!)

Jazz it up

Heres a quick idea to jazz up a top especially if like me you have bought one in every colour! (bargain £5 from New Look). I just arranged the buttons in a random way and voila!! fancy top, be careful if you sit still long enough I may attach buttons to you!!

New Brooches

Finally got round to making some new stuff for my shop. I'm doing it in snatched bits of time while the kids are watching a film or on the trampoline. They are nearly a week into the 6 weeks hols and so far only a few fall outs!. The weather is rubbish so in between the millions of showers per day they run out race around like mad on the trampoline, then run in when its soaked them watch abit of spiderman then start all over again, in out in out!!.

These new brooches are the start of a mamouth making session so I can start listing on Etsy, I've also applied to notonthehighstreet which I'm really excited about hope I get accepted because its a gorgeous site, fingers crossed!

schools out for summer

Well " schools out for summer" as Alice cooper said I think!?! and yes of course I cried buckets arent I silly!. Ewan starts reception next term and Maisy year 2 so I'll probably cry then aswell. Right change the subject completely, one of my fellow folksters bought some of my hair bobbles today yipee!, it was morecakedesigns. Well the end of term is nearly upon us, how heatic have the last few weeks been. The summer fair was fantastic, I sold loads of headbands ( picture asap when I make more!!), hair bobbles, some brooches and a couple of hearts, in fact I've started a craze for the headbands, I made some in the school gingham and they went down a storm so look out for some in my folksy shop soon!

Made some lovely hanging hearts for the teachers. Of course I'll cry tommorow!, my son starts reception next term and Maisy is in year 2, wow doesnt it go fast. I'm quite looking forward to them both being there full days! not that I'm trying to get rid its just I've got loads of plans for my folksy shop and I'm also opening one on BIG SCARY ETSY!! so a whole day is going to be such luxury!. July!!?? yeah right what horrible weather today, even put my knee high boots on which I hate doing when you've put them away for the summer!. Kids break up on Friday so the rain better go or I'm in for a long 6 weeks hols!!. Heres a few photos to remind us what summer is!
